1. Introduction
Welcome to Marvell Glass LTD. These Terms and Conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of our website and the purchase of our products and services, including but not limited to glass splashbacks, custom glass designs, and installation services.
By accessing or using our website and/or purchasing our products, you (customer) agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set forth herein. Please read these Terms carefully. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use our services or website.
Marvell Glass LTD is a company registered in England and we are dedicated to providing high-quality glass products and services to both commercial and residential customers across the UK.
2. Products
Marvell Glass LTD agrees to supply (and, where applicable, install) the items listed in your order (the Products). By placing an order, you, the Customer, acknowledge and accept the purchase of these Products in accordance with the terms and conditions stated herein.
As a company specializing in custom glass production, we strive to ensure every customer is satisfied. However, due to the unique nature of the glass manufacturing process, the following is accepted as standard industry practice:
- Variations in Production: Slight variations in color, size, and thickness may occur due to the manufacturing process. These variations are considered acceptable within industry standards.
- Inclusions and Imperfections: Glass may contain small inclusions such as bubbles or minor surface imperfections. These do not affect the structural integrity or overall appearance of the glass and are accepted as part of the production process.
By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept these potential variations and imperfections as inherent to the nature of the glass manufacturing process.
3. Site Survey
3.1. Pre-Installation Survey
Before the installation of any custom glass products, a site survey may be required to ensure accurate measurements and assess installation conditions. The customer agrees to provide clear and safe access to the premises at the agreed time. Any delays or restrictions caused by lack of access may result in additional charges or rescheduling.
3.2. Survey Accuracy
The customer is responsible for providing accurate information regarding the installation site. While Marvell Glass LTD will take every care during the site survey, the customer must verify that all provided measurements and details are correct. Marvell Glass LTD will not be liable for any issues arising from incorrect measurements provided by the customer.
3.3. Rescheduling or Cancellations
If the customer needs to reschedule or cancel a site survey, a minimum of 48 hours' notice must be provided. Failure to give adequate notice may result in a charge for the missed appointment.
3.4. Survey Fees
The fee for a site survey will be included in the quotation unless otherwise specified. If the survey is not included in the quotation, the customer will be informed of any additional costs upfront.
3.5. Pre-Survey Conditions
Marvell Glass LTD can only perform the site survey and take measurements once no further changes to the site are expected. Electrical and telephone points, utensil racks, appliances, cabinetry, and all fixtures must be fitted or marked before the Site Survey. Changes cannot be made to the Product once it is cut and toughened. Marvell Glass LTD takes no responsibility for any unprepared surfaces resulting in an unsatisfactory finish.
4. Lead Time
4.1. Estimated Lead Times
Lead times for the production and installation of custom glass products will be provided upon order confirmation. These lead times are estimates and are subject to change depending on production schedules, material availability, and other unforeseen circumstances.
4.2. Manufacturing and Delivery
We strive to meet the estimated lead time provided, but delays may occur. Marvell Glass LTD will inform the customer as soon as possible of any changes to the lead time. In the event of a delay, Marvell Glass LTD will not be liable for any indirect or consequential losses.
4.3. Installation Timing
The installation date will be scheduled once the glass products have been manufactured and are ready for delivery. The customer is responsible for ensuring the site is prepared for installation. Failure to do so may result in additional charges or rescheduling.
4.4. Delays Beyond Our Control
If the delay is due to factors outside of Marvell Glass LTD’s control (e.g., adverse weather, supply chain disruptions), we will not be held responsible for the delay. In such cases, we will work with the customer to arrange a new delivery and installation time as soon as feasible.
4.5. Customer Delays
If the customer causes a delay by not being available for delivery or installation on the scheduled date, or if the site is not ready, Marvell Glass LTD reserves the right to charge for additional costs incurred, including storage or rescheduling fees.
